App Analytics & Audience Insights
Understand What Your Audience Uses Most
See how people explore your app, what they search for, and which content they return to—then use those insights to improve your next event or update.
General analytics
See the Bigger Picture
Review active users, visits or sessions, and page or screen views using the labels shown in your dashboard. Follow usage trends across supported date ranges, filter by platform or app version, and review engagement and visit-duration metrics where available.
Use those patterns to understand busy periods, compare event days, and review activity before and after an event. App activity measures use of the app—it should not be treated as a count of total event attendance.
Realtime activity Platinum and above
See What’s Happening in Your App Right Now
The realtime dashboard summarizes activity recorded during a rolling 30-minute window, including active users, pages and detail content being viewed, view trends during the window, and available platform and app-version information.
Monitor activity around an announcement or check whether important information is being accessed while an event is underway. The rolling window is not an exact concurrent-user count or a promise of instantaneous tracking. Realtime App Analytics is available with Platinum and Titanium packages.
Geographic heatmaps Platinum and above
See Where App Activity Happens
Explore the geographic distribution of recorded app activity. Review supported date ranges and map filters to understand where people are using your app around your event or destination. Available controls include the date range and map display filters, with location summaries based on captured activity.
The map reflects recorded app activity—not a complete visitor count, physical footfall, crowd density, or continuous tracking of individual routes. App Usage Shown with Heat Map is available with Platinum and Titanium packages.
Content, favorites, shares & search
Discover What Gets Attention—and What Gets Saved
See which content people view, save, share, and search for. Compare popular pages with individual items such as vendors, performers, or resources; review favorites added and removed; understand sharing activity; and learn which search terms people use.
Each signal answers a different question: views show what was opened, favorites show what was saved, shares show what people chose to pass along, and searches reveal what they tried to find. Together, they can guide content placement, clearer naming, and future programming without treating every action as the same measure of interest.
Turn App Activity Into Better Decisions
Build your Grandstand app, learn from the content your audience uses, and carry those insights into your next event or update.
